Tiberius, where we are staying, is named after one of those Caesar chaps. It really doesn't feature in the gospels except in John 6:1 and 21:1 in a couple of oblique references. After all, it was a gentile town, a place of defilement.
Just out our window, we look up the very steep hill that forms one side of the deep basin which surrounds the Sea of Galilee. The deep depression is what creates such unpredictable weather.
